Jackson Park and Inglewood

Inglewood, Nashville, Tennessee

The purpose of this project was to survey and document Jackson Park, a 1930s era subdivision located in East Nashville, to determine its eligibility as a historic district for the National Register of Historic Places.  I was assigned the position of architectural surveyor for a portion of the Inglewood neighborhood.  As a surveyor I was required to document not only architectural aspects of individual properties, but also landscape attributes integral to the overall understanding of the property and neighborhood.  In all I documented and wrote descriptions for twenty-eight properties (see descriptions embedded below).
